Ex RFA Sir Percival arrives on the Mersey for scrapping
Another RFA (Royal fleet auxilliary) vessel arrived on the River Mersey today for scrapping, Sir Percival (L3036).
A very long service history that started in 1968 until she was decomissioned in 2004!! She was towed up from Marchwood by the tug Braveheart, the same tug that brought up The fleet tanker Grey Rover earlier in the year.
