River Mersey movements this week

Also this week, HMS Dragon will be arriving at Liverpool this Friday 7TH March for a 4 day visit (she will not be open to the public)

Caledonian MacBrayne Isle of Lewis Into Birkenhead

Cal Macs Isle of Lewis came into Alfred lock today after a brief period in Liverpool bay on engine trials after her service at Cammel Lairds. She is believed to be sailing out either late tonight or tomorow

Also here is RN training vessel HMS Biter, Chem tanker King Fisher outbound from Eastham.

Calmac Ferries Isle of Arran on the Mersey

The Calmac Ferries vessel Isle of Arran left the Mersey on the 16th April after a spell in Lairds for an inspection after a grounding incident on her usual scottish route.

Clansman leaves Liverpool

One of the Caledonian Macbrayne ferries "Clansman" left birkenhead docks today. She had been in the NSL/Lairds yard for repairs. Mixture of digital and film here, film was fuji reala 100.
