The River Mersey saw some foreign navy visitors recently. After the JointWarrior18 exercise finished in scotland the participating vessels dispersed and 3 arrived at Liverpool for some r+r!
Spanish navy frigate Álvaro de Bazán and the Canadian navy frigate HMCS St Johns arrived at the pierhead for a 24hr stay, followed a day later by a very unique/rare visitor in the shape of the Dutch submarine HNLMS Zeeleeuw, the sub stayed in Liverpool docks
