HMS Prince of Wales at Liverpool

The Royal Navies 2nd Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales R09 has made her maiden call to Liverpool today, she will be at the Pierhead until the 6th March and is open to the public for 2 days over this coming weekend!! all the tickets have now gone.

HMS Bronington M1115 "news" 28th April 2016

Looks like "Brony" has been making the news recently, shame its not for better reasons.

Birkenhead navy news!! RFA Orangeleaf to leave this week for scrapping

A Large tug Diavlos Pride has arrived in Birkenhead today. she will be towing the RFA Orangeleaf to Aliaga for scrapping at some point this week.

The RFA has been berthed in West Float since early last year after a refit/service in Cammel Lairds

USS Vicksburg GC69 Liverpool visit 24th April 2015

A bit of a "suprise" visit from the US Navy today!! USS Vicksburg GC69 arrived for the weekend at Liverpool, Several vessels from various Navies have arrived for the weekend most having took part in EX Joint Warrior in Scotland. the Turkish navy frigate TCG GOKSU is also on the CLT and Norwegion navy vessel THOR HEYERDAHL went into Liverpool docks aqlong with German navy fleet oiler Spessart.

rumours of some smaller vessels like minesweepers still to arrive??

Admiral kulakov and Groemitz leaving Liverpool today BoA70

The russian navy vessel Admiral kulakov and German Navy minehunter Groemitz sailed out of Liverpool today. Have no idea why they left early as the main parade of sail is tomorow around 2pm

Nato naval task group leaving Liverpool 9th April

6 vessels from the Nato naval task group left Liverpool this morning on their way to Scotland for the Joint warrior exercise. they had been berthed on the CLT pierhead over the weekend

ORP CZERNICKI (511) and ORP CZAJKA (624) and HMNMS URK AND BNS BELLIS AND KNM HINNOEY (M343) AND FGS WEILHEIM AND HMS ECHO were in the group
