Cunards Queen victoria leaving Liverpool 26th May 2015

The last of the 3 Queens left Liverpool this evening bound for Southampton. Queen victoria had been on the CLT overnight and sailed at 5pm today, she did a 360 spin in front of the Pierhead which was a cracking suprise, plenty of people out to see her go to!!

3 Queens on the Mersey, Cunard at 175 Liverpool 25th May 2015

Impressive day to say the least!! Good weather, HUGE crowds, Red Arrows and nice looking ships ;-)

After months of planning Cunards 175th celebrations came off without a hitch today with the spectacular 3 Queens on the River Mersey.

The sheer amount of people put paid to an wandering round for pics so  all these from the prom a little along from Seacombe.

Queen Mary 2 At Liverpool 24th May 2015

Ventured down to the river again in slightly better weather for some pics of the QM2 berthed at CLT.

Queen Mary 2 arrives at Liverpool for Cunards 175th Anniversary 24th May

Cunards largest vessel arrived at Liverpool today for the start of the companies 175th anniversary celebrations. she will be joined by her 2 sister ships on Monday 25th for the unique event of 3 queens on the Mersey. weather was the usual "mersey murk" ;-) but hopefully better on Monday. She is now berthed at the CLT pierhead, light show and fireworks are shedueled for tonight
