Liverpool Pageant of Power

A really good event in Liverpool tonight (25th May). A pageant of power! Lots of sports and exotic cars and motorbikes on display that later went on to "drag race" down the strand!

Some very impressive cars on display including a Ferrari Enzo, a brand new Rolls Royce, a Bugatti Veyron, lots of Lamboughini`s, Star of the show for me was the Bentley Speed 8!

Thousands of people there and the engine noise in a small space was fantastic, very well organised and i hope they hold another

Some HDR images

Been trying out HDR on some pics, HDR is High Dynamic Range, its an image processing method that boosts the contrast and details in an image that you would not normally see. Depending on your methods it can be very subtle or very over the top, the effect is very good either way

Shipping past New Brighton

Spent a few hours at New Brighton on Tuesday. Along with the German vessel Frankfurt leaving there were quite a few other vessels on the move. Container ship MSC Rohne arrived for Seaforth followed by a "new build" bulk carrier "Palma Bulker". Small carrier Merle arrived along with mersey regular Sigas Duke. Outbound was the LPG carrier Lady Martine. There are a lot of great vantage points in New Brighton to watch the ships go by ;-)
