Birkenhead docks 7th May, Clipper Point and others

Quick trip to Birkenead docks this morning in great weather for a change ;-)

Seatrucks Clipper Point is still in Victoria dock, Small cargo vessels Wilson Cork and Uphusen were unloading in the west and east floats, Sarnia Liberty is also still in the west float.

Clipper Point arrives in Birkenhead 23rd April

Another Seatruck vessel arrived in Birkenhead this morning, her sister ship Clipper Panorama was here last week. Tugs Smit Donau and Waterloo brought her in.

Mersey movements 4th Dec....Moondance

Went to get small coaster Merit on her way into Birkenhead docks and Moondance came out of the Lairds yard! this was unexpected. Moondance is the sistership of Riverdance which ran aground off Blackpool earlier in the year, she was scrapped in place as she could not be recovered. Stolt Petrol was leaving the docks and a RN patrol craft came out of the Albert dock marina

The Riverdance ferry ran aground off Blackpool earlier this year, her sister ship Moondance has been in the NSL yard for some time now, Today she left the yard and was taken into Liverpool docks.
