ACL Atlantic Star sailing from Liverpool 28th December 2015

ACL` new G5 class Atlantic Star left Liverpool today to continue her maiden voyage, now on her way to Halifax.

Weather was marginally better than when she arrived.

The 1st of ACL`s new G5 class CON-RO`s has made her maiden call at Liverpool today. Atlantic star arrived in torrential rain which is about right for the Mersey lol

the new G5`s will replace the much older G4`s as they are phased out over the next 12 months or so with one already being scrapped at Alang this year. Not much scope for pics from the eggy but at least i got to record her arrival, she sails out on Monday 28th dec (dont quote me)

Merseyside Pilots new vessel "Skua" officially named 4th May 2011

Merseyside Pilots today named their new launch, Skua, in the Albert dock at Liverpool.

She is a INTERCEPTOR 48 and was built by Safehaven marine in Cork.
