River Mersey shipping February 11th 2016, A tanker day!

Weather not as good but still cold on the river. A rare sight of 2 BP tankers on the Mersey today, British Eagle (BP Bird class) was outbound from Tranmere and passed a sister vessel British Serenity (BP Virtue class) inbound for Tranmere, they greeted each other with horn/whistle blasts

Also here is the tall ship Stavros Niarchos having left Canning dock and on her way to Langton lock before going into Liverpool docks proper. Dredger Arco Beck is here on her way to Garston docks
