HMS Portland and HMNLS Van Amstel Navy frigates at Liverpool

Royal Navy frigate HMS Portland is at Liverpool for a 4 day visit and was joined by Dutch navy frigate HNLMS Van Amstel yesterday, HNLMS Tromp was down to visit also but seems to have cancelled and she is now at Plymouth

Both vessels shedueled to sail out around 17.00hrs on Sunday 18th Jan (dont quote me lol)

RFA Fort Victoria not exactly back in service! at least not yet!!

RFA Fort Victoria`s delayed sailing today did not go entirely to plan, she developed engine problems and the sailing was cancelled, the accompanying tugs then took her into Liverpool docks via Langton lock.

Royal Navy frigate HMS Portland is arriving tomorow (thursday) for a 3 day visit and will be joined by 2 Dutch warships on Friday, pics etc to follow

Netherlands Naval visits to Liverpool

2 vessels from the Netherlands navy arrived on the Mersey today.

The LPD (landing platform dock) HNLMS JOHAN DE WITT and the Patrol/Corvette HNLMS GRONINGEN are here for 4 days. Berthed on the CLT Pierhead. Not open to the public??
